Event review: Future Taniwha Event Write-up

The long-term stability of Sino-New Zealand relations provides a lot of great opportunities for both countries. As young professionals, it was an honour for us to co-host ‘Future Taniwha’ recently along with the New Zealand China Council, North Asia Centre of Asia-Pacific Excellence (CAPE), and the Asia New Zealand Foundation to learn about leadership development opportunities in the NZ-China area.

Massive thanks to the guest speaker, former Prime Minister, Sir John Key, as well as representatives of the four co-hosting organizations, who provided an enlightening view on the importance of stable bilateral relationships and discussed the opportunities and challenges we can explore as young professionals.

The event was a great success with many useful takeaways, and it’s great to receive many positive comments from emerging leaders who attended.
