The future is all about technology. We have moved on from the pure digital technology revolution in the past few years to include deep technology, which requires more research, more investment and more scientific knowledge but can bring infinitely greater potential and benefits to mankind.
Are you interested in technology - the status of technology development in New Zealand, how does it rank up against other countries such as China? Or are you a student or young professional looking to take the first step into the world of technology, trying to incorporate this up and coming field into your current profession?
After consecutive sell-out events last year, the NZCTA YA is excited to present this year’s launch event about the importance of technology in New Zealand - Technology 2020.
Come along and spend the day meeting and networking with other like-minded young people and speakers who are the leaders in their fields. Find out behind the scenes of working in Technology, the areas the government is encouraging investment in and the changes we should prepare ourselves for.
Topics that will be explored include:
- NZ’s technology strategy
- the possibilities of blockchain technology and cryptocurrency
- artificial intelligence
